New publication in the journal Quantum Science and Technology. The publication entitled “Non-equilibrium coupling of a quartz resonator to ions for Penning-trap fast resonant detection” by J. Berrocal et al. can be downloaded from:
New publication in the journal Quantum Science and Technology. The publication entitled “Non-equilibrium coupling of a quartz resonator to ions for Penning-trap fast resonant detection” by J. Berrocal, S. Lohse, F. Domínguez, M. J. Gutiérrez, F. J. Fernández, M. Block, J. J García-Ripoll and D. Rodríguez constitutes the first demosntration of the coherent coupling between a quartz electro-mechanical resonator at room temperature and trapped ions in a 7 T Penning trap. The measurements were carried out in the Ion Traps and Lasers laboratory at the University of Granada.
