Last September 18th, the new COST Action “Trapped Ions: Progress in classical and quantum applications” started officially. The Action is chaired by Prof. Markus Hennrich (Stockholm University), with a Management Committee composed of representatives from more than 20 countries, most of them belonging to the European Union.
